Arduino Education courses are now open to everyone!

Arduino course access just got simpler

At Arduino Education, we’re always looking for ways to enhance our offering and improve the user experience. With that in mind, we are pleased to announce that you can now access our full library of educational courses for free!

Previously, users required an Arduino Cloud for Schools plan to access course content through the Shared Spaces area. But not anymore! Now anyone – teachers, students, or curious makers – can access these resources by simply signing in with their Arduino account.

Following these changes, teachers no longer need to set up classrooms in the cloud or register their Arduino Education kits – making the whole experience quicker and easier than ever before. It also means you now have access to previously restricted course content for some of our older solutions, including the following:

  • Greenhouse Kit
  • Explore IoT Kit
  • Education Starter Kit
  • Student Kit
  • CTC GO!
  • Science Kit Physics Lab
  • Braccio++
  • Engineering Kit Rev2

To prevent students from seeing certain sections of the course documentation intended for teachers only, we’ve removed some material from courses. But don’t worry teachers can still access these hidden resources by contacting Arduino support or their local distributor.

Please note that if you purchased an Arduino Educational kit in the past, the activation code that came with the kit is no longer valid. However, with all of the course content now freely available, you won’t need it!

What about Shared Spaces?

With courses now open to all, Shared Spaces – our collaborative workspace feature in the Arduino Cloud – is now an optional paid add-on.

Shared Spaces can enhance your teaching experience by making it easier for students to collaborate, track their progress, and get feedback. You can read more about the benefits of using Shared Spaces in your classroom here. It’s a great tool, but now that courses are open, you only need it if you want those extra features.

Start exploring today

We are incredibly excited about this step toward more open, inclusive learning – and we can’t wait to see what you and your students will create. In the meantime, if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.
